I went to Mark for first time to fix my old Countryman’s electronic module. He fixed it for the price we agreed, and in less than 24h. He was overall professional, friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended for BMW repair. Mark diagnosed and repaired a major Engine malfunction on my E92 320i at a very reasonable price.

I use Mark for both of our Minis. No job is too much trouble and he is very accomodating if you need to alter the works required. Never had an issue and have recommended him to several people. He is always busy and booked up for a while, which is reassuring. A great mechanic who cares about his customers. Thank you.

I recently had my vehicle serviced at Mark’s Autos, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Mark carried out a timing chain replacement along with new brake pads and discs, and the quality of his work was outstanding.
From start to finish, the experience was smooth and professional. Mark took the time to explain the issues clearly, provided a fair and transparent quote, and completed the work promptly without compromising on quality.
It’s rare to find a mechanic who combines technical expertise with such honest and friendly service.
On a personal note, it’s reassuring to know there’s someone local I can genuinely trust with my car. Mark’s attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right gives me real peace of mind. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending him to friends, family and anyone that owns a BMW/MINI.

Excellent service, Mark sorted out my coolant leak within 24 hours. Collected and dropped off my car. Reasonably priced compared to dealership. Also provided regular updates. Good communication. Highly recommended. Will book again for future repairs.

Mark saw me really quickly when the check engine light came on in my Mini Cooper. He took the time to properly look into it and explained everything in a way that made sense, without jumping straight to expensive repairs. I felt like he was genuinely trying to help, which you don’t always get! If the light comes back on, I feel totally confident bringing it back to him. Would definitely recommend and was worth the drive from Welwyn Garden!

My wife Ali found Mark through Facebook, as we couldn't find anyone locally willing to take on a timing chain replacement for her Mini Cooper D. He said he could do the work, and arranged for it to be collected from our home address.
All the way through the process from first contact, Mark was open and honest about the work that would be required (clutch and flywheel replacement etc), and roughly how long this would take. He provided the price based on all of this work and parts, including oils and fluids, aircon regas etc.
Whilst he had the car, he spotted another couple of issues, with the crank pulley and a shock absorber, that would both need replacing. We had the conversation with Mark and agreed to have the work done while he had the car, again with a quote for the additional work and parts.
Mark let us know when the car would be ready to collect. When we arrived, the car was ready and waiting, all cleaned and vacuumed too, and he went through the works, and showed us the bad shock (which was properly knackered).
Some pics, provided by Mark, of the extent of the work carried out are attached, to show how big a job this was!
All of this experience, which started with the possibility of having to scrap the car if we couldn't get it repaired, has been fantastic from start to finish. Mark is a great guy, and he provides a great service, works are completed to a very high standard and at a great price. We would have no hesitation in recommending Mark's Autos to anyone needing any work done to their Mini or BMW, however big or small.
Thanks Mark, you're a life saver!

Mark fixed the timing chain on our BMW 3 Series. Took time to talk through everything with me and picked the car up from our house. Wouldn’t take our car anywhere else now, felt it was a very reasonable price and Mark seems a very genuine, honest person. Highly recommend.

Mark fixed the timing chain issues with my 2007 Mini Cooper. He was honest, straightforward and kept me up-to-date throughout. The overall cost was very likely less than I'd have paid at a mini dealer. Mark was understanding and reduced the invoice when I pointed out the windscreen was cracked when the car was returned.
The car was collected and returned to my home address.
The car had some unusual problems but it did take a very long time to repair- 3 months overall compared to an initial estimate of 1 month.

I have just had my mini cooper s repaired by lovely Mark at Marks Autos. I can honestly say that Mark is a true professional and so knowledgeable with Mini's. He was so reassuring when I called up in a state about the repairs that needed doing to my car but I immediately felt at ease with him. Mark is thorough and an expert in his field and as an added bonus he does not rip you off like so many other garages. He is reasonably priced and does such an excellent job. I am over the moon with the work he has carried out on my beloved mini and I will never go anywhere else now. So pleased and grateful I found Mark's Autos. I would one million percent recommend Mark. Thank you so much for taking care of my car Mark.
