If you need any thing fixing please give Ben a call he runs a small businness, very reliable and gives a great service any queries Ben's happy to help . Had problems with a slow laptop which Ben sorted out quickly.

Was recommended to Village IT by a friend and spoke to Ben about repairs to my IPhone 12 Pro and my wife’s IPhone X
Was given a couple of options for repairs and decided to go ahead.
After the required parts arrived a date was arranged and within a couple of hours our phones were as good as new.thanks Ben

My laptop screen stopped working after a windows update. I contacted Ben and he collected the laptop, rectified the issue and returned the laptop within 48 hours. Absolutely brilliant service and at a reasonable price. Very much appreciated and would use again!

Purchased a monitor from these guys today; brilliant service. Straightforward transaction, yet Ben stopped what he was doing to serve me and explain the pros and cons of my monitor such as ports etc. and offer alternatives if I wasn’t happy. Screen came with a brand new power cable and before I left Ben showed me that the monitor and lead were both fully functioning.

Brilliant service from Ben, who got my laptop fixed very quickly and even went the extra yard on the weekend for me. Very easy to talk to and deal with, I'd definitely recommend and go back with any future issues. Price was very reasonable too.

Ben and Steve fitted ethernet wiring to a number of rooms in the house. I was pleased with the work and they left everything neat and tidy, also making sure that they matched the socket front plates. From first contact with Ben, he quoted quickly and was great to deal with.

I am an IT Support Technician and have been working with computers since 1979 from my militar days. I also worked with them after my demob in 1981 for 10 years in the City of London working with IBMs from about 1982. In 1986 I took Chase Manhattan Limited (a seperate company to Chase Manhattan Bank) through the London Stock Exchange deregulation process now called Big Bang. I have been fixing and repairing and generally working with home user type desktops since around 1991. I got my first laptop a beast of a machine made by Toshiba in 1988. It had a gas plasma orange screen and was so heavy it had to have a carrying handle.
So I guess I know what I am talking about.
My current IT business has been running for 20 years and I have been repairing Apple Macbooks since around 2008.
However I came unstuck when repairing a clients laptop because Apple have made a simple task of changing a screen which had got broken because the customer decided to put on a webcam cover one of my most challenging jobs.
I belong to a number of IT related support groups and I posted on one of those groups for help to rectify the issue I had.
Ben responded quite quickly and it was clear to see that he had a good understanding of the problem. His respoinses were very helpful and he offered me a solution which I was despterate for because I wanted to resolve my clients problem and return her laptop to her fully working.
After listening to Ben's explanation and solution of the issue I made the 1 hour trip up to his workshop. He had already ordered in a replacement screen and he had provmised to resolve my issue whilst I waited.
Ben runs a small rural workshop near Hitchin. It is a wonderful place to go and as the job was going to take about an hour Ben suggested I retreat to the local Bean Cafe which was an excellent recommendation
After about an hour I returned to Ben's workshop which was about a 1 minute walk but the job was not finished. This was due to Apple procedures that ultimately do not always work as designed.
Howver within a short period of time whilst I waited Ben annouced that the job was done and tested.
The reason i had troulble doing the job was not a failure on my part but because Apple made this screen on changeable by Apple Independent Repair Provider.
Ben is a pleasure to work with. He is clear and concise when he explains things and I was very impressed by his professionalism and knowledge.
No doubt I will come across this problem again but at least now I know that I can call upon Ben to fix it for me.
I cannot recommend Ben highly enough. Your laptop will be in safe hands and so will you.
My customer is delighed with her repaired Macbook and so am I

I had smashed my MacBook Pro screen whilst at work and contacted Ben @ Village IT & Technology Services. He managed to source and install a replacement screen, all within a couple of days.
The service I received was above and beyond what I expected and managed to continue work with minimal downtime. Can’t thank Ben enough!
I would not hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them, thanks again, James.

I contacted Ben after a Windows 10 update had stopped my desktop from working. He provided a very efficient, quick and friendly service and reinstalled Windows 10 which so far has restored the PC and it is working as it should.

It only took 3 months for our child to break his new laptop screen! HP were happy to fix it for more than it cost in the first place .
We contacted Ben to see if he could help and within 24 hours we had a new screen, professionally fitted for a really amazing price. Ben even dropped it back to us!
Cannot recommend this company enough … 🙌
